Hey guys! Kelly, from Exceptional Living here. Today I’m going to talk to you about how to lose weight easily.
First thing I need you guys to get is there is no quick fix.
Why? All you need to do is look at the statistics. We’re spending over $647 million a year on weight loss and they’re all quick fix solutions. It’s no surprise that with that in mind, we’re still the most overweight nation in the world per head capacitor. It’s insane.
Not only that though, when you look at the statistics, we’re going to live into our 80’s and the last ones that I looked at showed, 1 in 4 women were going to get cancer within that time and 1 in 3 men. It’s just nuts!
Also, in terms of diabetes, 280 people are getting diabetes everyday and over half of that’s preventable.
Why?
Because we’re too busy looking at quick fix solutions and doing that, it just doesn’t work.
What can you do to lose weight easily and have it last?
What you can do to lose weight easily and have it last is first get there is not quick fix. There’s a mindset shift. The question that you really want to be asking yourself is, “Who do I want to be when I’m 84?” What kind of grandma or what kind of grandpa do I want to be?
Do I want to be the kind of person that’s like, “Oh ouch, my leg and my back,” or do I want to be the grandparent that tires out the grandkids, that’s full of life and full of energy and still has heaps of mobility in their body?
Once you get really clear on that, what it is that you’re ultimately wanting, then it’s really easy to start making small changes and adding things into your lifestyle rather than taking things out. Adding in healthy habits is going to have you achieve that goal.
Then you’ll find things start to become easy for you. It’s not about depriving yourself.
It’s about not being able to have your cake and eat it too. Seriously, why would you have a cake if you couldn’t eat it? That’s just sucks.
My message here really is, guys, figure out who it is you want to be when you’re 84 because in reality that’s how long you’re going to live for and decide the kind of quality of life you want to have.
Then figure out what needs to happen, what small changes you can make on a daily, weekly, monthly basis that’s going to have you achieve that and remember, it’s small changes that make a big difference.
You don’t have to go nuts.

It’s small changes that are the ones that make the big difference.
