I got asked a great question by a client the other day and thought I’d share it with you because this is something that affects us all at some time.
QUESTION: How do I overcome negative thoughts of defeat?
ANSWER: I would love to give you a ‘one liner’ or a simple quick fix for this, but if I did I would be doing you a great disservice because it’s a little more complex than that and just ‘think happy thoughts.’
Overcoming negative thoughts of defeat comes from creating a relationship with yourself so strong that no matter what you always have your back, you are your own best friend, you believe in yourself when things seem impossible and you hold a belief so strong that you know no matter what comes your way you will figure it out, learn, grow and conquer.
Building this relationship with yourself takes time and continuous work and the best bit about it is you are in total control of it and everyday it gets stronger and stronger. The more time you send on it the faster your self-belief and confidence grows and negative thoughts disappear.
When you get this right your whole reality changes, your career soars, your body transforms and your experience love in a way you never have before and you have so much clarity on where you’re headed and who you are.
Ultimately the quality of the relationship you have with yourself determines the quality of life you have and the level of success you will achieve.
